Dear Adobe,

I want to thank you for your commitment to improving Fireworks and continued development with this software. Fireworks is indispensable to me as a Web Designer and I think you've done an excellent job with CS4.

My only complaint is that Fireworks CS5 is not here yet because I cannot wait to buy it. I know you're all working hard on it and will make it a worth while upgrade.

Thank you for all you do and know that I appreciate all of your efforts.

I've been using Fireworks since the Macromedia Studio MX days and always loved it for its easy web tools. Ever since Adobe took this app over it has been downhill and the last two releases(CS3 & CS4) have been amongst the most unstable applications I have ever used.

If these programs only cost a few dollars, perhaps I wouldn't mind so much...BUT THEY DON'T...it costs thousands to buy the design suite(At least in Australia it does).

Adobe, you really need to get your s*&t together and either fix the mountain of problems or stop charging people so much money. As every day goes bye without a fix, I look harder and harder for alternatives so I can stop giving you money!!

...Alas, there is still no real competition so I must endure using this crap for a little longer.

ADOBE, you ruined a great application! Fireworks is the only graphics editor for UI designers! Photoshop is for photographers and graphic designers.

WAKE UP and fix the problems!

Every web designer I know (including me) hate the new text engine on Fireworks. Nobody can make proper mockups of text blocks because the text rendering messes up all the anti-aliasing applied. Not even the custom anti-alias feature works as expected... the results are so bad... Not to mention the lack of the "system anti-alias" property. Besides that, I think most Adobe responses really don´t say anything useful or encouraging, looks like they are dodging bullets rather than trying to avoid a shooting.

I'm having constant headaches with Fireworks specially because sometimes I can't save PNGs due to "not enough memory" errors and I do own a fast computer. Please please please fix that!

Fireworks CS4 crashes on my Mac have cost me so much time/money that my frustration is beginning to outweigh my appreciation of the improvements. Please fix it!

Holy Smokes... I wish I knew when this was written. I've been using FW Since 12/08 and it's now 8/09 and this is a buggy bit of software. There are issues man...

for every 5 hours of production progress, 1 hour is lost due to crashes.

I really like the "concept" and "thinking" behind Fireworks... you guys are definitely on the right track to having excellent software - but this is really unstable on our totally highend workstation with a Quadro FX 3700, and loads of RAM. Even though it's in version 9 or 10 the software feels like version 2 for us users.

I'd like to see Adobe fuse Illustrator, Photoshop, Fireworks, After Effects and that other program (Page layout) into one program. It's all 2 dimensional, presented inside a retanglular frame, using bits and vectors, in digital (and printable) format... and then have different output modules - if you really feel there is some highly specialized functionality.
