off-topic, but….
dear dear adobe guys,
please please please make a ‘dear microsoft’ version of your site!!
I guess a lot of Illustrator gripes are fixed with CS4. We shall see. Highly anticipated!
I love Illustrator, Sorry no complaints from me…I’ve done sum great work in it..Where can I show them off?
I would GLADLY post more detailed requests, but you are limiting our posts to 200 characters. Why??????? Seems VERY counter-productive to me.
@BeePee: The character limit was implemented for a couple reasons. I think it helps keep people focused when griping and forces people to be concise. It also helps preserve the original spirit of Dear Adobe considering that it all started with short, snarky comments on instant messenger. With that in mind, we want to keep gripes short and quick; something that you can easily decide if you agree or disagree with.
Unfortunately then I would expect Adobe to be unable to properly respond to many of the gripes posted here (as evidences by the unofficial responses to the AI gripes, and the lack of responses to many of the others). And we already know that they do not personally respond to anything left at the bug report page.
Perhaps retain a limit, to keep folks from posting a novella, but maybe increase it to 500 or 1000?
I love Illustrator
